Bmp4 (Bone morphogenetic protein 4) – MGI gene detail
Description: Bmp4 is expressed in both epithelium and mesenchyme at E12.5. Its expression is restricted to the mesenchyme from E13.5. Bmp4 is expressed only in the anterior and distal regions of the palatal shelves.
